When seizures are suspected or brain dysfunction is apparent on neurologic examination, EEGs are performed to localize seizure activity and regions of abnormal brain activity.
EEGs are performed by experienced technicians and electroencephalographers, with experience in interpreting both adult and pediatric EEGs.
