State-of-the-art neuroimaging is available at Johns Hopkins through the Department of Neuroradiology. MRI and CT images of the brain are reviewed by a neuroradiologist with expertise in vascular abnormalities.
The JHH KKI Sturge-Weber Syndrome Center is integrated with the Johns Hopkins Neurovascular Center. SWS patients with associated atypical neurovascular findings are referred for appropriate neurosurgical or interventional neuroradiology evaluation and treatment.
