Helping the Parkinson's Disease & Movement Disorders Center
and the Morris K. Udall Parkinson's Disease Research Center

By its nature, scientific research depends upon thoroughness and an ability to confirm findings. But research on PD, a disease where subtle things go awry at the gene or cell level, requires even more in the way of sophisticated technology and unusually skilled scientists. Because such work is costly and because the Center's commitment to finding PD therapy swiftly means its research follows many leads at the same time, the need for sponsors is great. With your interest and financial support, we can improve the quality of PD patients' lives and work toward a cure. Your help brings us closer to these important goals.

Charitable gifts reward donors in many ways too. There is the satisfaction of supporting an important cause, the excitement of seeing your gift lead to positive change, and--in many cases--tangible financial benefits to you and/or another beneficiary, through tax advantages and the retention of lifetime income from the donated asset.

Gifts to the Parkinson's Disease & Movements Disorders Center and the Morris K. Udall Parkinson's Disease Research Center at Johns Hopkins can be made in many ways, for a variety of purposes. Support may be made through an outright gift, a pledge payable over a period of years, a life-income gift, such as a charitable remainder trust or annuity, or a bequest. Gifts may be made in the form of cash, appreciated securities, real estate, or personal property.

You can give a gift online by visiting the Department of Neurology's Donor webpage and designating the amount of your gift to be directed to Parkinson's Disease. For other ways to make a contribution, please contact:
