![]() Fellowship in Neurology of AIDS We offer a 1 to 3 year fellowship for neurologists desiring to specialize in the Neurology of AIDS within the departmental AIDS Research Center. Fellowships are NIH-supported under several senior mentors with expertise in clinical, virological, molecular, and immunologic aspects of HIV-1 infection of the nervous system. Fellowships can be customized to incorporate either clinical or laboratory training or a combination. Particular research interests include: development of novel therapeutic agents, neuropsychology, neuropathology of CNS and PNS, genotypic and phenotypic characterization of HIV isolates and pathophysiological mechanisms.
