Fellowship in Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders

Outstanding opportunities are available for a clinician-basic scientist in the study of the molecular mechanisms of neurodegeneration as well as opportunities for clinical training. This is a research intensive fellowship. However, the fellow would also be expected to participate in a Movement Disorder Clinic and gain skills in the clinical assessment and management of patients with movement disorders. Current areas of investigation include the role of nitric oxide in animal models of Parkinson's Disease and identification of downstream targets of nitric oxide in neuronal injury.
