Ursula Wesselmann, MD, PhD
Dr. Ursula Wesselmann is Associate Professor of Neurology, Neurological Surgery and Biomedical Engineering. Her specialization is pain management of chronic pain syndromes, specifically visceral pain, pain arising from the reproductive organs (pelvic pain, vulvodynia, testicular pain, prostatodynia) and neuropathic pain (sympathetically maintained pain syndromes). She is currently investigating the pathophysiological mechanisms of chronic visceral pain with the aim to develop better treatment strategies.
