Richard T. Johnson, MD
Dr.
Richard T. Johnson has been a member of the Department of Neurology since
its creation in 1969. His clinical and research work over the past 30
years have focused on infections of the nervous system. His clinical interests
have also been involved in not only inflammatory but demyelinating, degenerative
disease of the nervous system. He has published over 250 papers as well
as a highly cited book, Viral Infections of the Nervous System,
edited Infections of the Nervous System and a widely utilized biennial
volume, Current Therapy in Neurological Diseases.
Dr. Johnson conducts a Neurology clinic weekly on Wednesday mornings from
8:00 am to 12:00 pm. New patients are accepted only by physician referral.
He is available for phone consultation (physicians only) by calling his
clinical secretary, Windy Winder-Staten, at 410-614-5835 between 8:30 am
and 5:00 pm weekdays.
