Ursula Wesselmann, MD, PhD
Dr.
Ursula Wesselmann is Associate Professor of Neurology, Neurological Surgery
and Biomedical Engineering. Her specialization is pain management of chronic
pain syndromes, specifically visceral pain, pain arising from the reproductive
organs (pelvic pain, vulvodynia, testicular pain, prostatodynia) and neuropathic
pain (sympathetically maintained pain syndromes). She is currently investigating
the pathophysiological mechanisms of chronic visceral pain with the aim
to develop better treatment strategies.
Dr. Wesselmann sees patients by referral at the Johns Hopkins Neurological
Consultation Center. Appointments may be scheduled by calling her secretary
at 410-614-4517.
Dr. Wesselmann also conducts clinical
